EcoVillage Farm Learning Center
 is offering a three month Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture:
Small organic and sustainable farming, community and school based gardening…

The primary goals of this EcoVillage Farm Apprenticeship program in Ecological Horticulture are to:

  • Increase the number of “people of color” and others who are engaged in organic and/or sustainable farming.
  • Increase the number of people who are involved in the development of a sustainable and just food system.

This three month Apprenticeship program is open throughout the year and offered four times a year. The training includes a wide range of “minds and hands on” work in the field, green house, orchards, small farm animal husbandry, community supported agriculture (CSA) farmers market, beekeeping, urban low-income youth and community engagement, food security social and economic justice issues.
